A mid-street home in the Parkway development in Folsom, this small backyard was designed to provide three outdoor “rooms”.

The covered patio and Bar-B-Que adjacent to the house become a kitchen and dining space; the raised patio provides an intimate conversation space; and the lawn doubles as a game room for activity.

The beautiful wall of the raised patio is a comfortable seat height from both sides. A unique edge on the patio cover extended the shaded areas and throws interesting shadows on the concrete below. The raised patio will be shaded by evergreen trees and the planter bed along the south fence features a Japanese Maple for an outstanding color focal point.

Plans included custom design, planting plans, drainage, and lighting.
